St Joseph’s Clermont encourages the students to further develop their interests and talents through participation in a variety of co-curricular activities. Some of these opportunities include:
Choir/Verse Speaking: Saint Joseph’s students may nominate to participate in the school choir group, where students attend multiple community events to perform and also compete in various competitions including the Central Highlands Eisteddfod. All children from Prep and up compete at CH Eisteddfod for Verse Speaking within their class groups. Students also have the opportunity to nominate for individual or small group speech or vocal Eisteddfod items.
CrossCountry - All students participate in the Annual School Cross Country event. Representatives are then selected to participate in the District Carnival.
Cultural Performances: Throughout the year, our students attend a variety of cultural/educational performances, both within school and off-campus. These sessions give students and insight into the fascinating and multicultural world around us.
Camps/Excursions: Students may be given the opportunity to further enhance their learning through the real-life learning activities offered beyond the school. All camps and excursions are based on educational programmes and adhere to both Student Protection and Workplace Health and Safety protocols and standards.
