Fee accounts shall clearly state the terms and methods of payment. These should be paid within fourteen (14) days. Flexibility of payment methods is available e.g. weekly, monthly or quarterly. Payment by credit card, direct debit, cash or cheque is available. Please contact the school office to make suitable arrangements.
Parents who experience difficulty in paying fees and levies are asked to make an appointment to see the Principal so alternative arrangements can be made. Concessions from fees are kept in the strictest confidence and it should be noted that the inability to pay school fees should never be a reason for denying a child an education in a Catholic school.
Tuition Fees Tuition fees and levies are determined in term 4 of the following year. Information on current fees and levies is then forwarded on to parents (see link to Fee Schedule above)
Resource Levy The resource levy is used to provide the students with expendable materials used as part of the learning activities. It also supplements the provision of teaching aids. This levy is $35.00 per student per term with percentage discounts available for 3 or more students.
Parents and Friends’ Association Fundraising Levy This levy is used in lieu of involving parents in major fund raising activities.
Parents and Friends’ Association Affiliation Fees The federation represents parents of Catholic schools at the state and federal government levels.
Technology Levy This levy is used to meet the costs associated with technology in our school such as WAN, Myinternet, school computers, data projectors and associated technology.
Building Fund Levy Catholic Education, Diocese of Rockhampton has established a Diocesan School Building Fund, which will be used to fund construction and maintenance costs for all primary schools in the Diocese.
Specific Purpose Charges These costs are additional to school based levies. Additional charges apply for specific purposes eg. Arts council, travel and accommodation related to school field trips and camps, excursions and transport to swimming pool.
Concession Card Discount In 2017 Catholic Education introduced a means-tested concession card discount. Parents/carers with an eligible means-tested Australian government health care or pensioner concession card will automatically receive a 70% discount to tuition fees (does not apply to school levies). This initiative is intended to assist those families who genuinely do not have the financial capacity to pay tuition fees in full.
