PARENT
INVOLVEMENT

At St Joseph's, we see the partnership between the school and home as integral to the successful education of your child.  Parents are actively encouraged to be a part of their child's education.  All parents should feel welcome to involve themselves in school activities.
The areas below are examples of ways parents can be involved at school, but is no means an exhaustive list;

  • Classroom Parent Assistance - Teachers may request the help of parents to assist in the classroom e.g. reading, maths activities, story writing. This help is invaluable. Parents are encouraged to become involved where possible.

  • Be involved in the School P&F or the School Board

  • Volunteer in the Tuckshop

  • Assist with fundraising

  • Lend a hand at working bees
